SCHEPERS LASER TECHNOLOGY

Based in Vreden, a German center for printing form manufacturing, Schepers has focused, since 1991, on the design and development of laser systems for gravure, decorative, embossing, rotary pad printing and security applications. The company also covers highly specialized requirements. Schepers created  a universal laser platform, the Digilas. Digilas can process any cylindrical body made of any material that is to be structured using direct lasering or the LAMS method with subsequent etching. Digilas comes in different sizes for rollers that can be held in one hand to cylinders that weigh many tons. It can be combined with various laser sources and optics depending upon what each application needs and what the performance requirements are. Cleaning, coating, spray etching, and brushing machines are also available as required by the relevant process.
